Editing the Music Video!

At the moment we have been editing our footage on Final Cut Express and so far everything looks good. However, we are having issues with the syncronization of our music video as we are having trouble matching the song in time with our actors lips. In order to make to fix it we had to cut the clips and add some transitions for make the cuts less obvious to look at and so that it flows well with the song as it is after all a slow song. We have also fixed the lighting for our music video from advice from our teacher as she said that some of the lighting did not reflect on the mood of how the actor was feeling. So in the bits where Olly was thinking about the good times, the lighting had to be lighter and when we was thinking of the bad times or when he is by himself singing, the lighting should be toned down. By doing this, it will express his emotions to the audience. Colour correction only had to be used for some of the clips as most of the others had perfect lighting, for example the scene where they are playing chess.
